The Hackettstown Historical Society Museum houses over thirteen thousand items in its collection of artifacts and memorabilia. Museum visitors and researchers will find:
– A historical reference library with nearly eight hundred volumes of state and local interest

– A 9,000+ name genealogical database
– More than five hundred documents, deeds and manuscripts dating from to the colonial period to the twentieth century
– Local cemetery records

The Hackettstown Historical Society Museum is located at:
106 Church Street, Hackettstown, NJ.
The building was originally built in 1915 for the Theodore G. Plate family.
